Touch Typing Practice: Lorem Ipsum

In the world of design and development, lorem ipsum is a pseudo-Latin text used as placeholder when creating mockups or prototypes. Many times it is used at the beginning of a design project to establish a visual framework before defining the content of a website. It also allows the designer to focus on layout and typography, instead of spending time worrying about what the final text should be.

Using lorem ipsum to practice your typing can help improve your typing skills, especially your accuracy. Because the text is made up on nonsense words, you will have to work extra hard to type it correctly. This effort will help you see quick improvment when you return to typing familiar words and sentences.
